Q. The SS24 VIOLA Collection is vibrant and full of life.Can you share the inspiration behind the colour choices for the SS24 VIOLA Collection and their impact on the product design?
A: Intuition meets inspiration. In designing the MYWALIT’s SS24 VIOLA Collection, I intuitively blended deep pinks, lavenders, and greens, inspired by the bold floral art of Anna Blatman and Claude Monet. This colour scheme not only highlights intricate details but also creates vibrant contrasts that enhance the uniqueness of each accessory.
Small colourful details are vital for MYWALIT. I focus on harmonising colour and design to enhance the collection’s spirit, infusing it with vibrancy and energy that reflect our core values.
Q. What new features have you introduced in the SS24 VIOLA Collection’s bag designs, and how do they enhance functionality and user experience while balancing beauty with practicality?
A: Mindful design to me means balancing aesthetics with utility. This is key at MYWALIT. This collection features compact, streamlined bags designed for practicality and ease of use, including multiple compartments for organization. I’ve used contrasting stitches and piping to highlight their elegant shapes, embodying MYWALIT’s distinctive style.
Our bags blend aesthetics with practicality, essential for enhancing user experience. For instance, the MYWALIT CARRARA shopper serves dual purposes. It’s stylish enough for fashion-forward users and spacious enough to carry laptops and paperwork. It showcasing the unique combination of beauty and functionality that defines our collection.
We’ve enhanced our bags with contrasting colours and materials, like surplus nappa leather for zipper pullers and panels. These add both style and function. For example, the panel on the MODICA bag introduces a striking visual element. Furthermore, it conceals a zipper pocket, blending beauty with security. Additionally, the use of soft pebble and nappa leathers adds texture, making our bags stylish and practical for daily use.
Q. How have you designed the SS24 VIOLA Collection’s small leather goods to stand out. How does the quality of the leather enhance these products?
A: In the SS24 VIOLA Collection, you’ll notice our distinctive elephant logo. Seen as symbol of good luck in various culture we’ve prominently featured it in the new items. This logo celebrates the craftsmanship and traditions of our artisans in Thailand and Vietnam. For the first time, we’ve debossed the elephant on our products. We’ve also introduced a metal elephant pendant on the SLGs. This enhances their uniqueness and makes them ideal gifts that connect deeply with our heritage.
This season, we’re also excited to introduce embossed Napa leather accessories, featuring a raffia texture embossment that evokes summer vibes. These items, in our best-selling colours with contrasting zippers, offer a fresh take on our commitment to quality and design. This approach ensures our SLGs are not just functional but also uniquely MYWALIT, blending durability with our signature style.
